Worry dolls to make your troubles seem like trifles
Make light of your troubles with this interactive exhibition of travelling worry dolls. A creative community project by Maleny artist, Corrie Wright, one page at a time features brightly coloured worry dolls threaded by exhibition visitors from all over the world. Each visitor contributes a hand-made worry doll complete with a paper tag describing their own special concern, adding to the exhibition as it tours from venue to venue.
Reading what others have written on the dolls, visitors will delight in sharing fears, hopes and concerns with hundreds of people before them. Together the lines and lines of dolls remind us that we’re never alone in our anxieties.
This is a fun, interactive and community-building exhibition that helps you leave your worries behind!
