Hire Fees

Touring exhibitions are offered for hire by Local Arts Councils, Regional Galleries, Local Government agencies and independent hirers statewide. 

Exhibitions are available for hire by Local Arts Councils for a flat fee.  To provide equity of access to all Local Arts Councils, Ontour onexhibition covers freight costs, except where Local Arts Councils partner with a Regional Gallery to present the exhibition (freight costs are then covered by the Regional Gallery). 

Regional Galleries and independent hirers are responsible for all freight costs associated with presenting the exhibition in their community.

Fee Structure

Hire fees vary depending on the hirer.
*Please note Artesian Country, Remote Channels of Expression and one page at a time have a different fee structure.

Regional Gallery or Independent Hirer
Hire Fee | $770 (inc GST)
Freight Costs | Paid by Regional Gallery or Independent Hirer

Local Arts Councils in partnership with Regional Gallery or Museum (Queensland Only)
Hire Fee | $330 (inc GST)
Freight Costs | Paid by LAC (LAC on-charges freight to Regional Gallery)

Local Arts Councils (Queensland Only)
Hire Fee | $330 inc GST
Freight Costs | Nil (Subsidised by Queensland Arts Council as part of its membership services)

Varying fees apply to some exhibitions due to size, please see below.

Hire Fee | $1100 + freight (For LACs, same fee structure as above)

Hire Fee | $550 + freight (For LACs, same fee structure as above)

PLEASE NOTE:

Cancellation Fee: A cancellation fee of $100 applies if an exhibition is cancelled after you have received booking date confirmation.

Marketing Costs: all marketing and promotion costs associated with the presentation of Touring Exhibitions are the responsibility of the hirer.
