Daniel Wallwork is a Cairns based professional artist, youth arts worker, graphic designer, automotive spray-painter and legal graffiti artist.

Daniel’s father owned a paint shop, so he grew up with the smell of paint and the industrial forms of cars and motor parts around him. His four-year spray painter's apprenticeship and graffiti art interest developed his vibrant painting techniques.

Daniel uses his aerosol skills in his growing contemporary arts practice, as well as aiming to inspire regional youth and communities through the use of traditional and safe, aerosol techniques.

Daniel has specialized in legal aerosol arts since 1998, co-ordinating and conducting many large and small-scale projects, particularly with small regional communities in South-west Queensland and North-east Queensland. Since 2002, he has held many artist residencies including Mitchell, Nhullunbuy/Gove (NT), Graft n’ Arts, Butchers Creek State School, Cooktown State High School, Gab Tatui Cultural Centre (Thursday Island) Cairns School of Distance Education, Trinity Bay High School.

Daniel has recently been awarded two major public art commissions - at the Cairns International Airport and a series of large roadside wall sculptures and structures for the Da Vinci Business Park located next to Brisbane Airport . Exhibitions are scheduled in 2009 at the Canberra Contemporary Art Space and the Brisbane City Art Gallery .
